چکیده
Abstract In recent years, the growing need for reducing non-structural damage after earthquakes has stimulated a dedicated effort to develop innovative types of fasteners anchoring components (NSCs) reinforced concrete (RC) host-structures. To contribute such need, and building on previous research, this paper presents results series uni-directional shake-table tests simulated NSCs anchored via: (1) expansion, (2) chemical anchors; post-installed into: (a) uncracked, (b) cracked concrete. Considering different construction details, experimental investigation focused traditional anchorage systems, alternative solutions comprising mortar filling into gap clearance, low-damage system relying supplemental damping devices, capable acceleration as well force during seismic shakings. The provided significant evidence beneficial effects dissipative protecting both component itself, even strong earthquakes. Moreover, when details allow close fixture clearance with filling, stiffer solution provide an additional reduction accelerations forces. Therefore, suggestions further improvements adopted are also proposed.

Shake Table Tests of Reinforced Concrete Flat Plate Frames and Post-tensioned Flat Plate Frames
A research study was undertaken to assess performance of flat plate systems constructed with slab shear reinforcement under dynamic loads. The research program consisted of shake table tests and accompanying analytical studies of two, approximately one-third scale, two-story, two-bay, slab-column frames. One specimen was constructed with reinforced concrete (RC) slab, whereas the other specimen...
